Terms and Conditions – Glittering Cleaning Service (QLD)
These Terms and Conditions apply to all cleaning services provided by Glittering Cleaning Service, a QLD-based business. By booking a service with us, you agree to the terms set out below.
1. Bookings & Confirmations
All bookings must be made via our website, phone, or email. Submission of a booking form does not confirm your appointment — a team member will contact you to finalise and confirm availability. We reserve the right to refuse service if the property is unsafe, not as described, or if access cannot be arranged.
2. Access Requirements
You are responsible for providing clear access to the property. If no one is present, you must provide keys, codes, or other instructions. If we are unable to access the property at the scheduled time, a call-out fee or full service charge may apply.
3. Scope of Work
Services are based on your selected options in the booking form. Any additional tasks requested on the day must be approved by the team and may incur extra charges. Outdoor cleaning (e.g. patios) includes only floor, light fittings, and ceiling fan unless otherwise quoted.
4. Property Condition
Properties must be in a cleanable state. Excessive dirt, hoarding, pest infestations, or hazardous materials must be declared upfront. We may revise or decline jobs that go beyond standard cleaning scope.
5. Bond Cleaning (Exit Cleans)
Bond cleaning follows general real estate standards but does not guarantee bond refund — this decision is at the agent’s discretion. We recommend scheduling your clean after furniture is removed and before final inspection. Re-cleans (if required) must be requested within 72 hours, with agent feedback provided.
6. Payment Terms
Payment is due in full on the day of service unless prior arrangements are made. We accept EFT, bank transfer, cash, and card (fees may apply). Overdue invoices may attract a \$25 admin fee per day. All quoted prices are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
7. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations made within 48 hours of your booking may incur a 50% cancellation fee. Same-day cancellations or no-shows will be charged at full rate. If you need to reschedule, please notify us as early as possible — we aim to be flexible.
8. Liability & Damage
While we take care with your belongings, we are not liable for: Pre-existing damage, Items not disclosed before service, Poor-quality or unstable surfaces, fittings, or fixtures. Damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of the job completion. We carry public liability insurance in accordance with QLD requirements.
9. Photo Uploads & Verbal Quotes
You may upload photos to assist with quoting. Quotes are based on the information you provide. Final price may be adjusted if the property condition differs on arrival.
10. Pets & Safety
All pets must be secured during the clean. The property must be free of health or safety risks. We reserve the right to stop work if safety concerns arise.
11. Promotions & Specials
Complimentary or discounted services (e.g. free carpet clean) apply only during promotional periods and must be mentioned at the time of booking. Offers are not redeemable for cash. One promotion per service.
12. Privacy & Data
We respect your privacy and handle all information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and applicable QLD law. We do not share or sell your personal information.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be handled in accordance with Australian Consumer Law and may be escalated through the Office of Fair Trading QLD if required.
